Girls' Trip to Vegas!
Last weekend I got to go on a fabulous girls' weekend trip to Vegas for my dear friend Sarah's birthday. All the details, including location, were kept secret until our departure when we opened a box with our itinerary and lots of goodies. Sarah's husband Mike did an incredible job of planning our trip, and all the daddies were great to watch the kids and send us off for some much needed girls' time.

We had reservations for manis & pedis (and champagne & martinis) right away at the Encore spa. The best in Vegas.
Our next stop was dinner at Sensi, an awesome restaurant at the Bellagio. I was pleased to find out this was not the same as Sansei, the sushi restaurant, which is great too. But not this great. The kitchen was enclosed by glass. I love love love open restaurant kitchens where you can watch the chefs working their magic.
This dessert is reason enough to visit Sensi, but our service and every dish we ordered was amazing.
We had a great dinner, and were contemplating calling it a night... until Victoria reminded us that it's not often the girls go out on the town. So we decided to go out out and we were so glad we did. We had so much fun dancing all night long.
This is Ronda spilling her drink down Sarah's leg. Funny picture.
The next morning we headed for Bouchon. As in Thomas Keller of the French Laundry, Per Se, Ad Hoc. Needless to say, it was one yummy brunch.
Before heading home, Ronda had to play her slots. And of course came home with a few extra bucks. Go Ronda!
This was such a fun trip. Hopefully the first of many girls' trips for our special group of mommies.
Thank you Mike and Sarah! I can't wait for our next girls' adventure.
